Our Assessment: Springfield Armory Model 1903 was built back in 1938. It has since been rebuilt and is now in National Match configuration. It looks great for being over 80 years old and has a strong & bright bore. The barrel is in great shape but it is not “star gauged”, so this is not a true National Match 1903.
