Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “Winchester ® Model 9422M”, “.22 WIN. MAGNUM”, “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.-” and “-WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The bottom of the receiver is marked with the serial number “F295306” and the front of the trigger guard has it as well. The buttpad has teh Winchester logo.

Sights/ Optics: The front sight is a dovetailed blade at the muzzle on a serrated ramp with protective hood. The rear sight is a “U”-notch leaf and elevator sight dovetailed to the rear of the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition/ Grip: The stocks are two-piece with forearm and buttstock with flat comb, semi-pistol grip and black rubber buttpad. The stocks have some handling and storage marks and the finish is uneven at a knot on the right side of the buttstock. The buttpad has some mild operational wear, discoloration around the edges and what appears to be white paint marks. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stocks are in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. The rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore
Overall Condition: The rifle retains about 99% of its finish. There are some mild handling and storage marks. The markings are clear. The screwheads remain sharp. Overall, the rifle is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box Paperwork and Accessories: There is an attached ring on the left side of the receiver with an attached leather string. The string has some minor wear but remains in Excellent condition.
Our Assessment: This Winchester model 9422 is a lever action rifle that takes .22 Winchester Magnum rounds. This rifle despite being several decades old has very little wear and should prove a worthy companion. It can be used for hunting or target practice at the range. Good luck on your bid!
