Markings: The top of the barrel is marked with a two-line Ruger warning. The right side of the barrel is marked “1961—1985 / 25th ANNIVERSARY”. The “103-12976”, “RUGER CARBINE / .44 MAGNUM CAL.”, a phoenix logo, and “®”. The right side of the buttstock is marked with a .44 Carbine 25th Anniversary medallion.
Barrel Length: 18 1/2”
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded brass blade that has been hand-painted orange dovetailed into a banded base that is pinned to the barrel. The rear sight is a flip-up u-notch with a white diamond. The aiming reference can be flipped over to a square-notch configuration. The barrel and the top of the receiver are drilled, tapped, and filled with optic rings that have attached a Simmons Whitetail Classic 1.5-5x scope with a duplex reticle. The objective bell has light nicks on the edge, the glass is fairly clear, and overall, the scope is in Very Good condition.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a one-piece smooth wood with pistol grip, straight comb, and black polymer buttplate. There are QD sling swivels on the belly of the buttstock and the underside of the forend. The stock has a few light nicks most notable on the left side of the forend near the band. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate has light scuff wear at the heel and toe. Overall, the stock rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The barrel has a few minor nicks on the top and the action has light operational wear. There is minor thinning on the ejection port. The screws show minor toolmarks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
