Markings: The top of the barrel is marked with a two-line Ruger warning. The top of the polymer handguard is marked with the company’s phoenix logo, “RUGER” in a vertical orientation, and “®”. The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, “630-08355”, “RUGER DEERFIELD® CARBINE”. The top of the receiver behind the rear sight is marked “.44 MAGNUM”.
Barrel Length: 18 1/2”
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a beaded brass blade dovetailed into a banded base that is pinned to the barrel. The rear sight is a flip-up peep sight that is adjustable for elevation dovetailed into the receiver at the rear. The receiver rib is notched for the included Ruger rings that have attached a Burris 2-7x Compact scope with a duplex reticle. The scope body has a few minor nicks, and there is some light adhesive residue on the objective bell. The glass is fairly clear and overall, the scope rates in Very Good-plus condition.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a one-piece smooth wood with semi-pistol grip, straight comb, and ventilated and serrated black rubber recoil pad. There are QD sling swivels on the belly of the buttstock and the barrel band. There are a few minor handling marks on the left side of the buttstock, but otherwise the stock is free of any notable wear or damage. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 14 3/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttpad and 13 1/2” to the back of the wood. The buttpad has a few minor handling marks, but otherwise is free of any notable wear or damage. Overall, the stock rates in Fine-plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its metal finish. The barrel has scattered minor nicks most notable on the underside. The action has minor operational wear. The screws show minor toolmarks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
