Markings: The underside of the barrel is marked with a two-line Ruger warning. The left side of the frame is marked “RUGER® .454 CASULL / NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK®”. The right side of the frame under the cylinder is marked with the serial number “88-77754”. Both grip panels are marked at the top with the Ruger phoenix logo. The cylinder is serial-matching, hand-scribed “7 5 4”.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a red fiber-optic dot blade pinned to a base that is fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a square-notch leaf adjustable for elevation and windage in a base pinned to a channel in the topstrap.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth wood panels. There are light handling marks but otherwise the grips are free of any notable wear or damage. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion, but there is light stubborn fouling throughout.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is a more notable nick on the topstrap and there are a few minor scuffs on the backstrap. The cylinder has an intermittent faint turn line. The screws show light toolmarks with strong slots, pins are unmarred, and all markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder pin has been replaced and has a set-screw. The cylinder locks with light play at each stop. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This New Model Super Blackhawk will ship with a gray plastic Ruger factory snap-case, two sets of Ruger grips, a lock, and assorted factory paperwork in a sealed envelope, including the manual.
