Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked with a two-line Ruger warning. The left side of the frame is marked “RUGER® .45 CALIBER / NEW MODEL SUPER BLACKHAWK®”. The right side of the frame under the cylinder is marked with the serial number “38-44112”. The cylinder is serial matching, hand-scribed “1 1 2”. Both grip panels are marked at the top with the Ruger phoenix logo.
Barrel Length: 7 1/2″
Sights/Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade integral to a base fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a square-notch in a base pinned to the topstrap and is adjustable for elevation and windage.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth wood panels. There are light handling marks and the left panel has a few light nicks on the underside. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion, but there is some light stubborn fouling on the lands.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The ejector rod housing has a few light nicks, the cylinder has an intermittent turn line, and there are a few longer nicks on the backstrap. The screws show light toolmarks with strong slots, pins are unmarred, and all markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder locks with almost no play. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This New Model Blackhawk will ship with a serial matching gray plastic Ruger factory snap-case, a test fire casing in a sealed envelope dated 2014/12/11, a lock, and factory paperwork in a sealed envelope. The case is free of any notable wear or damage and rates in Fine-plus condition.
