Screws show minor tool marks with sharp slots and all markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The double action is smooth, the single-action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This pistol includes a Black and Yellow Ruger clamshell box, two (2) 9-round magazines, and assorted factory paperwork including the manual in a white envelope. The box has only light wear from storage and handling and overall it rates in Fine condition. Both magazines have only light operational wear, have strong springs, intact feed lips, and rate in Fine condition.
Our Assessment: The Ruger P-series was intended for military and police use, as well as home and personal defense. Produced from 1985 to 2013, the design traded compactness for rugged construction, and as such the pistols do tend to look very much of the decade in which they were designed—but hey, everything old is new again, and this P94DC manufactured in 1997 is no exception. It is in Fine overall condition with a bright bore, strong mechanics, hardly any wear, and has two magazines and a factory box. Good luck and happy bidding!
