Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number at the breech and “Remington / MODEL 700” at the midsection. The left side of the barrel is marked “CPRECISION”.

Sights / Optics: There are no iron sights on this rifle. The top of the reciever is installed with a one-piece Picatinny rail.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is an H-S Precision composite stock with a black finsih with grey webbing, pistol grip, fluted straight comb, wide forend, solid black rubber buttpad, picatinny rail mounted to the forend, and sling swivels front and rear. The stock has some little marks through the finish on the right of the butt and nose of the forend but they are so small they will likely go unnoticed, otherwise there is just light handling wear. The LOP measures approximately 13 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the textured black solid black rubber H.S. Precision buttpad. The buttpad exhibits light handling wear, no major defects. The stock rates in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a light rub on the left side of the barrel at the muzzle that has caused a small smooth spot. The bolt handle has a few little rubs from use. There is light operational and handling wear. The markings are strong. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The rifle weights approximately 9 lbs. The tuned trigger breaks at approximately 2.5 lbs and breaks crisply. The bolt is a Pacific Tool Gauge Co. spiral fluted bolt with an M16 extractor. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a C. Precision test target with a 3 round group at 100 Yds and one fouling shot.
Our Assessment: This is a sweet Model 700 that has been tricked out by C Precision. The rifle has been upgraded with a custom #20 contour barrel with 6 groove 1 in 8 twist rifling chambered for the popular 6.5 Creedmoor cartridge. The barrel measures 26” and tapers off to .855 at the muzzle. The crown is cut at 11 degrees and is recessed, both it and the barrel were hand lapped by the ‘smiths at C. Precision. The action has been trued and blue printed which includes squaring the bolt lugs, lug recess, and recutting the threads. The bolt has been replaced with a Pacific Tool and Gauge Spiral fluted bolt with an M16 extractor and sharply knurled handle. The trigger has been tuned and crisply breaks at 2.5 lbs. This performance package sits in a H.S. Precision ADL style stock with a PTG recoil lug that has been bedded with Pro-Bed 2000. The Remington 700 is an American classic but this one is certainly not your grandpas deer rifle. Please see our photos and good luck!
