Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “02160-78”. The magazine cover, trigger guard, left side of the buttstock, receiver cover, bolt, and bolt carrier are serial matching, and stamped with a partial of the serial-number, “02160”. The underside of the barrel is import-marked “SKS ALBANIA 7.62×39 TG KNOX, TN”.

Barrel Length: Approximately 20 1/2”

Sights/Optics: The front sight is an adjustable, hooded post. The rear sight is a u-notched sliding escalator marked from “1-10” and “-D-” at the base.

Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a smooth wood with a finger-grooved forend, pistol grip, through bolt, side-mounted buttstock sling swivel loop, gas-block sling swivel, cutout for the included folding black cruciform bayonet, ventilated wood handguard, and a sheet steel buttplate with two cleaning kit trapdoors (kit not included). The stock has scattered light-to-moderate nicks and scuffs most notable along the left side. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 12 1/2” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate has light wear on the edges and a previously applied finish has dried and cracked. Overall, the stock rates in Very Good condition, as refinished.

Bore Condition: The chrome lined bore is bright with sharp rifling. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 92% of its current metal finish. There is thinning on the edges of the receiver. The action has light operational wear. The receiver has scattered light nicks mostly on the top. There is light thinking on the barrel near the muzzle. The barrel has a few light nicks. Screws show light tool marks and have strong slots. All markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Very Good-to-Fine condition, as refinished.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
