Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are light handling marks, some minor thinning on the magazine well, a few light nicks on the right side of the magazine well. The screw heads are undamaged and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is light and crisp. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork and Accessories: This precision rifle will ship with one (1) 10-round box magazine that has light operational wear, a strong spring, intact feed lips, and overall rates in Fine condition.
Our Assessment: The Ruger Precision Rifle was developed to put the same quality and accuracy of much more expensive rifles into the reach of beginners who may not want to take out a second mortgage to build a long-range rifle, while still making it modular for those who want to upgrade parts. The rifle can use most AR-15 handguards and grips, an after-market for barrels quickly sprang up and the RPR has become one of the most popular precision rifles on the market. This example looks to have been purchased and seldom used, with little to no signs of use. It is chambered for 6.5 Creedmoor, making this an ideal rifle for those sensitive to harsh recoil. Good luck and happy bidding!
