Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “EMP / CAL 9mm”. The right side of the slide is marked “EMP” behind the serrations and “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” in front. The right side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD INC / GENESEO IL USA / EMP30743”. The barrel is marked “S.A. 9MM”.

Sights / Optics: The pistol is mounted with Trijicon night sights. The front sight has a single tritium lamp in the face of its serrated blade, dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight has two tritium lamps to either side of a square-notch Novak-style base dovetailed to the rear of the slide and fixed with a set-screw. The lamps are bright and are easily acquired in low to no light environments.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered Crimson Trace black & gray G10 panels with a red laser. There are some light handling marks. The checkering is strong. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a couple of little marks on the lever safeties. There is a little wear on the checkers of the mainspring housing. There are standard operational marks. The screw heads are unmarred. The markings are clear and crisp. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. The slide to frame fit is snug. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a serial matching gray hard case, 11 Gear holster, 11 Gear dual magazine belt slider, paperwork including the manual, and a 9 round magazine. The 11 Gear accessories have some light marks, in about Fine Plus condition. The magazine has some light wear from use, in about Fine Plus condition. The case has some light marks to the exterior, in about Fine condition.
Our Assessment: This is a Springfield Armory EMP pistol in 9mm that is based on the venerable 1911. The Enhanced Micro Pistol, however is not just another 1911. It is smaller, slimmer, has a lighter alloy frame, match-grade bull barrel and night sights. This would make a great concealed carry or home defense pistol. Ammunition is, usually, easy to find and afford and there are a plethora of loads available for both practice and defense. The trigger is far nicer than most pistols this size and will help you get the most out of its quality barrel. This pistol is in about Excellent condition with little sign of use, if any, and comes with just about everything it did brand-new. Please see our photos and good luck!
