Markings: The left side of the slide is marked with “PIETRO BERETTA”, “GARDONE V.T. – MADE IN ITALY” and “PB” in an oval. The right side of the slide is marked “MOD. 92FS – CAL. 9 Parabellum – PATENTED / BERETTA USA CORP., ACKK, MD.”. The left side of the frame is marked with the serial number “D77648Z”. Both grip panels are marked in the center with the three-arrow Beretta logo. The right side of the frame is marked “TYPE -M-”. The right side trigger guard bow is marked with two Italian proof marks and an Italian “AU” date code in a box, indicating the year of manufacture as 1989.

Sights/Optics: The front sight a blade with a white dot that is integral to the slide. The rear sight is a square-notch with a white half-circle that is dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration and Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered polymer panels. There are light handling marks, scattered nicks and scuffs on the smooth borders, and a few areas where the checkering is worn or dinged. The checkering is otherwise sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright, and rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 96% of its metal finish. The dust cover has scattered minor nicks at the front end. The barrel has a few light nicks scattered about with a few long scuffs on the top. The slide, takedown lever, and slide stop have taken on a mino plum hue. The screws show light tool marks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. The single action is crisp, and the double action is smooth, though a little heavy. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork, and Accessories: This magazine includes a blue plastic Beretta snap-case with a serial-matching Beretta cardboard box, two (8) 8-round magazines, and a warranty packet. The cardboard box shows moderate wear from handling storage with light tears at the edges, and some scattered creases. The magazines have light operational wear, strong springs, intact feed lips, and rate in Fine condition.
