Our Assessment: The late-80s saw the introduction of two exceedingly powerful large bore cartridges—.454 Casull, and the .475 Linebaugh, designed by the legendary John Linebaugh. On offer here is a .45 Colt Ruger New Model Blackhawk converted for the larger cartridge with a custom 8 1/4” barrel and 5-round cylinder, making an already formidable revolver an absolute beast suited to taking down big game or dispatching any dangerous animals you might encounter while on a hunt. In overall Fine-plus condition with a bright bore, tight lockup, and a Bisley grip, this is a truly neat revolver any hunter should own. Good luck, and happy bidding!
