Our Assessment: This Standard Products M1 Carbine was built back in 1943. After WWII it served in a U.S. friendly country. It was eventually rebuilt and imported back into the U.S. for sales to the civilian market. Luckily the import mark is under the wood so it is not visible unless you break down the rifle. This M1 Carbine has been refinished so it looks good and it still has a bright bore.
