Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “CALIBER / .22 L.R.” The left side of the receiver is marked “MARK XXII / PAT. PEND.” and “Weatherby”.  The right side of the receiver is marked “25035”. The right side of the barrel is marked “MADE IN ITALY”.

Barrel Length: 24”

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a U-notch with an additional two flip-up leaves for elevation adjustment; the rear sight is dovetailed to the barrel. The front sight is a brass beaded blade dovetailed into a serrated ramped base fixed to the barrel. The front sight is grooved for a protective hood (not included). The top of the receiver has a mail dovetail mounting an optic (none included).

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is one piece skipline checkered wood with a high gloss finish, Monte Carlo comb, pistol grip and cheekpiece. There is a thin firm brown rubber recoil pad mounted on the butt with a black spacer marked “Weatherby”. There is a rosewood grip cap with tan spacer and a tan diamond shaped piece of wood inlet into its bottom surface. There is also a rosewood nose cap with a tan spacer. There is a sling swivel in the bottom of the belly and a stud missing the swivel on the forend. There are a couple stains to the wood around the bottom metal. There are other scattered minor marks. The checkering is nice and sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad, which shows minor rubs and light discoloration on the face. Overall, the stock rates in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some very faint handling marks, mostly found on the bottom metal. There is also some minor dried grease on bottom metal that will require a more thorough cleaning to remove. There is minor operational wear. The screw heads are very lightly marked with string slots and the markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included with this rifle are one 5-round magazine and one 10-round magazine for a total of two. The mags show some faint operational thinning and have a plum hue, each rating in about Fine condition.
