Markings: The right side of the slide is marked “Executive Target”. The right of the frame is marked “ED BROWN PRODUCTS PERRY, MO USA / 4006”. The front face of the barrel bushing is marked “BROWN”. The top of the chamber is marked “Ed Brown 45 ACP’.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a serrated square notch Ed Brown target sight dovetailed into the slide. The top of the slide has serrations for glare reduction.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are brown and black G-10 panels with dimples along the front 1/3 and diagonal serrations along the rear 2/3. There is no notable wear or damage to the grips, only light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in Excellent overall condition. Also included are wood grips.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is light handling wear. There is standard operational wear. There is a light tiny scrape on the right front edge of the slide. The screw sockets are strong. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly with a snug and smooth slide to frame fit. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be required to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a dark blue nylon zip-up Ed Brown branded case, paperwork including the manual, spare grips, three 7-round magazines, extra recoil spring plug, and three spare Ed Brown pump pads. The grips are double diamond checkered wood, they have light handling wear with no major defects, in about Excellent condition. The mags have some light wear from use, in about Fine Plus condition.
Our Assessment: Ed Brown is among a small group of the best manufacturers of custom and semi-custom 1911s in the world including Wilson Combat, Nighthawk Custom and Les Baer. This pistol is an excellent example of why they have earned this reputation. Ed Brown has combined the most desired upgrades including front strap stippling checkering, flat mainspring housing, extended beavertail indexing bump grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, and skeletonized hammer and trigger with their legendary craftsmanship quality. Quality that will make this an excellent target pistol as well as a defensive pistol to which you can trust your life. This pistol is in Excellent condition, showing little sign of use and comes with just about everything it would brand-new.
