The rifle has a green canvas sling attached. It is marked with Korean characters. The sling metal shows scrapes & scratches. It is in about Very Good Plus condition.

Our Assessment: This WWII Springfield Armory M1 Garand was made back in 1942. It has since been rebuilt using mostly Springfield Armory parts. After WWII it appears to have served in South Korea. The sling is Korean marked and the sides of the butt have had what we believe to have been Korean markings removed. This M1 Garand has some history.
