Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “ARCHON FIREARMS”. The left side of the frame is marked “B” inside a triangle. The right side of the slide is marked with proofs, “2019”, “LAS VEGAS, NV”, “AA0001391”, and has a logo above “TYPE B”. The chamber is marked “AF USA / Baltimore, MD / 9×19 / AA0001391” and also has a proof. The rear of the frame and grip are marked with warnings. The bottom of the dust cover and rear of the frame both have metal plaques that have the serial number “AA0001391”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade with a red fiber-optic insert and is dovetailed into the slide. The rear sight is a square notch with a serrated rear face and is dovetailed and screw set to the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip unit is black polymer. The grip has raised square texturing. There is some light handling wear but no major defects. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There is a smooth spot on the right of the slide at the front, otherwise there is only light handling wear. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The pistol comes with a serial matched box, black soft case, Sig Romeo dovetail plate, and four 15-round magazines. The magazines have some light wear from standard use and rates in about Fine condition. Please note, no magazines will be included if prohibited by your local laws.
Our Assessment: This is an Archon Type B and is certainly not one of your run of the mill polymer handguns that saturate the market these days. Instead of the Browning tilting barrel design the pistol uses a cam-activated floating locking block like the Bergmann 1903. This allows the pistol to have a very low bore axis (about 25% lower than a Glock 19) with no off-axis barrel movement and results in great accuracy. Since the barrel is low and the barrel has no off-axis movement, this also results in very reliable feeding. The designers took time to reduce as much weight as possible to reduce recoil and the pistol has good ergonomics to further control the pistol. These features are all great but if the pistol was unreliable none would matter, so five pistols were selected during designing and were ran with 100,000 rounds of standard ammo and 10,000 rounds of +P+ each without stoppage. This is a very neat pistol with a ton of cool design features well worth a place in your safe. This one comes with its original box, soft case, and four magazines… all you need to do is drop a bid.
