Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “10 GA. MAGNUM / FOR 3 1/2 “ SHELLS ONLY” and has an inspection mark followed by “RP 93”. The left side of the receiver is marked “Remington SP-10 MAGNUM” and the serial number “RM024343”. The right side of the barrel is marked with a warning above “REMINGTON ARMS COMPANY, INC. ILION, N.Y. U.S.A.” and has magnaflux, proof, and test marks.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white bead on top of a ventilated rib. A silver midbead is present as well.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered wood with a finger grooved forend, pistol grip, and straight comb. The stocks have a tan, coyote brown, and black factory camo. The checkering is sharp with a few compressed checkers. The smooth surfaces show scattered handling and storage marks. The LOP measures 14” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttpad. The pad has light handling wear, no major defects. The stocks rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are some scattered light rubs and handling marks. There is a spot of finish loss with oxidation on the top of the chamber to the left of the rib. There is standard operational wear. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a Remington SP-10 box with a non-matching serial number and a matching camo sling. The sling has light wear and some white discoloration on the black strip on the shoulder pad, in about Fine condition.
Our Assessment: The Remington Model SP-10 is a gas-operated semi-automatic shotgun chambered for 10 gauge 3 ½ inch Magnum shells only. It was produced by Remington Arms from 1989 to 2010 and the design was based on the Ithaca Mag-10. This example has a 23” barrel that can accept only 3 ½” loads and has a removable choke. This gun is perfect for hunters, especially with its threaded barrel and removable chokes. The gun is in Fine Plus condition, appearing to have taken only a handful of trips to the range and was responsibly used. Please see our pictures and good luck!
