Markings: The right side of the barrel is marked “CAL. 9 Short / 380 Auto”. The left side of the slide is marked “PIETRO BERETTA”, “GARDONE V. T. – MADE IN ITALY”. The right side of the slide is marked with “PB” in an oval, “BERBEN CORPORATION N.Y. – N.Y.”. The left side of the frame is marked “MOD. 85 BB – CAL. 9 Short”. The right side of the frame is marked “PB”, the serial number “D06258Y”, an Italian proof mark, and “AL” date code, and another Italian proof mark.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with red dot that is integral to the slide. The rear sight is a square-notch with red half-circle dovetailed into the slide.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece smooth wood panels. Both panels show light nicks and compressions, the majority of which are on the right panel. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips rate in Very Good-to-Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 93% of its metal finish. The slide and barrel show scattered light nicks and minor scuffs throughout. The frame shows scattered light nicks throughout and the backstrap shows light nicks along its edges. The screws show light tool marks with strong slots, and all markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this handgun. The single action is crisp, and the double action is smooth. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol includes five (5) 8-round magazines (two nickel plated and three black alloy). The magazines all show light operational wear, have strong springs, intact feed lips, and rate in Fine condition.
