Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “41 MAGNUM”, the right is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The left side of the frame is marked with the S&W monogram logo and the right of the frame is marked with the four-line marcas registradas address. The crane-cut is marked with the serial and model numbers, the butt is also marked with the serial number. The crane and sides of the grip frame have inspection marks. The underside of the top strap is marked “A”.
Barrel Length: 6″
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with red insert pinned to a rise in the serrated rib on the barrel. The rear sight is a flat-topped white outlined square notch in a micrometer adjustable base screwed to the top strap. The top strap is drilled and tapped for mounting an optic.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered wood target stocks with S&W medallions and smooth diamonds around the grip screw escutcheons. There are a couple of tiny marks on the right panel under the medallion, otherwise there is just light handling wear. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright with strong Electro Chemically Machined rifling. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 99% of its metal finish. There is a light turn line on the cylinder not through the finish. There are light handling marks. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup has no movement with the trigger depressed. The double action trigger is smooth and the single action trigger is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a blue plastic S&W case with a serial matching label and a manual. The case has some light scuffs and stress discoloration, in about Fine condition.
