Markings: The left of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER MODEL 94AE CAL. 357 MAG. / -MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL-“, the top at the rear has an ovalled “WP” proof. The bottom of the receiver is marked with the serial number to the left of the lever plate.

Barrel Length: 24″

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a tall blade dovetailed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a semi-buckhorn U-notch with a white triangle aim guide at the rear and an elevator that is dovetailed to the barrel. The top of the receiver is drilled, tapped, and filled in four places for mounting a scope.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered wood with banded forend, pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and black checkered Winchester buttplate. The stocks have only a few scattered minor marks. The checkering is sharp. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 1/2″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The plate shows some nicks around the edges. Overall, the stocks are in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few scattered minor marks that are hardly worth noting. The action shows minor operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle is in Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The rifle has a rebounding hammer, cross-bolt safety and a lever safety. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes in its original serial matching box. The box has been coated with a protective laminate. Under the laminate are a few minor punctures and creases. There are no rips or tears. The internal foam is in good shape. The box rates in about Very Good-Fine overall condition.
