Our Assessment: This is a Browning BDA (Browning Double Action) made by Sig Sauer and is the same as their model 220. This one was made in 1977, the first year of production. It has the early contoured slide, thin slide serrations, polished slide flats, and a spur hammer. This is the rarest of the BDA pistols, it is chambered in .38 Super of which only 752 were made. This one retains about 99% of its original finish and comes with its factory box and one magazine. For the Browning or Sig Sauer collector, this would make a good addition, but it would also make a nice carry, home defense, or recreational shooting pistol. Please see our photos and good luck!
