Our Assessment: This is a Browning Hi-Power that was made by FN in Belgium in 1981. It has a high polished blue finish, adjustable sights, and comes with two aftermarket magazines. This pistol is in about Very Good condition with some scattered oxidation but nothing that will hinder shooting performance. The Browning High Power is one of the most reliable pistols made and has been used by more armies throughout the world than just about any other, including Britain’s Special Air Service. It has an all-steel slide and frame, unlike some of the more modern high capacity semi-autos, and the pistol can stand up to tens of thousands of rounds through it without problems of any kind: try that with an alloy framed Beretta or Sig-Sauer. This pistol was made in the last decade of the “Belgian Brownings” and the fit and finish will probably never be duplicated on the pistols being made and assembled outside of Belgium. Please see our photos and good luck!
