Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “STAINLESS / STEEL”, “RANDALL”, and “CALIBER / .45 AUTO”. The right side of the slide is marked “SERVICE MODEL”. The right side of the frame is marked “RANDALL F.A. MFG. CORP. SUN VALLEY, CA. U.S.A. / RF0006657C”. The top of the chamber is marked “ED BROWN 45 ACP”. The front of the bushing is marked “BROWN”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Trijicon blade with a tritium lamp and is fixed to the top of the slide. The rear sight is a square notched Trijicon sight with two tritium lamps and is dovetailed into the slide. The lamps have dimmed slightly but are still easily acquirable in low light.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are aftermarket black and gray G10 panels with dimples on the front third and diagonal grooves on the rear two thirds. The texturing is sharp and there are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent overall condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its metal finish. The matte surfaces show a few faint rubs and scuffs that have lightly thinned the finish. There are some spots of dark discoloration on the dust cover, trigger guard, and front strap. There are some scuffs and little hairline scratches on the polished surfaces. There is a light arc on the left side of the frame from takedown. There is an aftermarket hammer, grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, barrel, barrel bushing, sights, checkered mainspring housing, full-length guide rod, and extended magazine well. There are light handling marks and standard operational wear. The grip screws show light use and the markings are clear. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. There is an aftermarket hammer, grip safety, ambidextrous thumb safety, barrel, barrel bushing, sights, checkered mainspring housing, full length guide rod, and extended magazine well. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with two a Randall box The box has some edge wear, light scuffs, and a few little marks. The box rates in about Fine condition. Please note, no magazine is included.
