Action Type: Single Action Semi-Automatic Pistol with Removable Magazine.
Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “CHAMPION / CAL 9MM”. The right side of the slide is marked “SPRINGFIELD ARMORY” and with the crossed cannons logo. The right side of the frame is marked “SPRINGFIELD INC / GENESEO IL USA / LW 141087”. The top of the barrel is marked “NM 9mm”. The bottom of the chamber and slide are matched and hand inscribed “087”.
Barrel Length: 4″ Match Grade
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a Trijicon blade with a tritium insert and is dovetailed to the front of the slide. The rear sight has two tritium inserts to either side of a square-notch Novak-style base dovetailed to the rear of the slide and fixed with a set-screw. The lamps have dimmed slightly but still produce a strong glow and are easily produced in low light environments.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered cocobolo panels with Springfield Armory’s crossed-cannon logo in the center, “RO CHAMPION” along the backs, and smooth diamonds around the grip screw escutcheons. The grips have no notable wear or damage with only light handling marks. The checkering is intact and strong. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a couple light rubs and handling marks. There are a couple little marks on the front edges of the slide. There is light operational wear. The screw heads are unmarred. The markings are clear and crisp. Overall, this pistol is in Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. The slide to frame fit is tight and the barrel lockup is tight. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a gray plastic Springfield Armory case with serial-matching end-label, Ed Brown magazine, and a spare Springfield Armory 9mm barrel. The barrel has some standard operational wear and the bore is bright with sharp rifling. The chamber is marked “S.A. 9MM”, it rates in about Fine Plus condition. The 9-round magazine has some scuffs and spots of operational thinning, in about Fine condition.
