Markings: The left side of the slide is marked with the Walther banner logo and “Carl Walther Waffenfabrik Ulm/Do. / Modell PP Cal. 7,65 mm” and an eagle over “N” proof mark. The right side of the slide is marked “Made in W.Germany”. The right side of the frame is marked “97305″ and with the eagle over “N” proof. The left side of the frame is marked “LP” and “By” which have each been struck out. The front strap is marked “HK INC ARL VA 22201”.

Barrel Length: 3 3/4”

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white dot blade integral to the slide. The rear sight is a square notch blade with white sighting reference point. The top of the slide is serrated with a matte finish to reduce glare.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two piece checkered plastic with a Walther banner logo near the top of each panel.

MW40: The panels show some handling wear with nicks on the smooth borders, most notably on the bottom of the right panel. The checkering is generally sharp with some scattered individually nicked checkers. There are no visible chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Very Good-Fine overall condition.

MW41: The right panel shows notable scratches and compressions on the top and bottom smooth border, as well as around the screw. The checkering is generally sharp with some scattered individually nicked checkers. There are no visible chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Very Good overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: MW40: This handgun retains about 93% of its metal finish. The balance of finish shows light handling marks. There are some fine scratches scattered about the frame. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this pistol rates in about Fine condition.

MW41: This handgun retains about 89% of its metal finish. The balance of finish shows thinning on the left front of the slide, around the muzzle, and on the grip frame. There are some fine scratches scattered about the frame with more notable scratches on the right side. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this pistol rates in about Very Good-Plus condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly on both guns. Both have slide mounted safeties that de-cock the hammer. We did not fire these handguns. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: These guns come in their original faux leather boxes with a total of two 8-round magazines. The boxes for both guns show light-moderate rub wear at the edges with no rips or tears. Each box rates in about Very Good condition.

MW40: Each magazine is marked with the Walther banner over “PP 7.65mm”. The magazines show light operational wear with intact feed lips and a strong spring. Overall, they rate in about Fine condition.

MW41: Each magazine is marked with the Walther banner; one is marked “PP 7,65mm” and the other “cal. 7,65mm”. The magazines show light operational wear with intact feed lips and a strong spring. Overall, they rate in about Fine condition.
