Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “FREEDOM ARMS .454 CASULL / FREEDOM, WYOMING U.S.A.”. The left side of the frame is marked “PAT. 4228607 / 4126953”. The bottom of the frame is marked “D11635”. The rear face of the cylinder is marked “11635”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade set on a smooth ramped base fixed to the barrel. The front sight is secured with an allen head at the front of the base. The rear sight is a flat-topped square notch sight that is adjustable for windage and elevation and screwed to the top strap.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are smooth wood. The grips show light wear with draglines and a few shallow scratches, the scratches are mainly on the left panel. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Fine condition.

Finish Originality: Original

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 97% of its metal finish. Light handling and storage marks are scattered over the surfaces. There are a few scratches, most noticeable on the left side of the frame at the front and on the cylinder. There are a few scattered scuffs that have caused smooth spots. The cylinder shows a light dragline. There is operational wear on the hammer and trigger. The hammer serrations and screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup produces barely perceptible movement. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: Included is a serial matching faux-wood box and an original sales receipt from Pony Express Sport shop. The box has some wear on the edges and corners with a couple spots of surface material loss on the lid. There are a couple of little patches of tape on the lid. The box rates in about Very Good-Fine condition.
