Markings: The top of the barrel extension’s chamber ring is marked “WAFFENFABRIK / MAUSER / OBERNDORF A/N”, the left shoulder is marked “190507” and the left has a crowned “U”. The bottom of the barrel has inspection markings and a worn, incomplete import mark. The right of the frame has “WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER / OBERNDORF A NECKAR”. The top of the bolt stop is marked “265”. The top of the bolt at the rear is marked with a crowned “U”. The top of the bolt locking block is marked “6561” and the side of the sear disconnect is marked “507”. The rear face of the frame is marked “190507”. The rear of the hammer has “NS” monogram (new safety) and “507” (this marking appears to be a force-match). The top of the magazine floorplate is marked “6933”. There is a brass disk attached to the lanyard ring marked “30”.

Barrel Length: 5 1/2”

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a “V” notched rear sliding elevator sight with markings from “50-1000” that is pinned to the barrel extension. The front sight is a blade fixed to the front of the barrel.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered black hard rubber panels with “WM” monogram in circle at their tops. The grips have light handling wear with a few scattered nicks and scratches. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Fine condition as likely not original to the gun.

Finish Originality: Refinished

Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright with sharp rifling. There is some scattered light erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 95% of its current metal finish. The finish is thinning at most edges. There is some scattered minor wear in the barrel assembly. There is scattered erosion and pitting under the finish. The action shows operational wear. The screw head is tool marked with a strong slot. Remaining markings range from clear to worn and incomplete. Overall, this pistol is in about Very Good condition as refinished.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The trigger is crisp. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes with a walnut stock/holster with leather shoulder-strap. The stock/holster has some scattered light nicks, scratches and scuffs in the wood. The metal fixtures show light wear and minor surface oxidation in their black finish. The leather shows scattered light wear and some discoloration with intact stitching. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the stock/holster is in about Very Good condition as refinished and/or reproduction. Please note, the stock holster should only be installed on the pistol in accordance with the law.
