Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “LAWMAN MK III / .357 MAGNUM CTG”. The rampant Colt horse, “T” and the verified proof mark are on the left side of the frame. The right side of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.”. The crane and crane cut are marked with the serial number. The left side of the grip frame is marked with factory letters. The insides of the grip panels are marked “19857U”.

Barrel Length: 2 1/8″

Sights / Optics: This revolver is mounted with a fixed front blade and a square notch in the top strap for a rear sight.

Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are checkered wood panels with gold-toned Colt medallions. The left panel has a minor mark through the checkering but the checkering remains sharp on both sides. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Fine-Excellent overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is well defined. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This revolver retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are some light scratches on the right side of the frame. The grip frame shows some light handling marks. The cylinder shows a thin turn line. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp. Overall, this revolver rates in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly, both single and double action. The cylinder locks up tightly with very little play. We did not fire this revolver. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This gun comes in its original serial matching box. The box shows extensive wear and the left side main fold is torn and being held on by tape. The box rate in about Fair-Good overall condition.
