Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number “180-71002”, “®”, “STURM, RUGER & CO., INC. / SOUTHPORT CONN. U.S.A.”, and “MADE IN THE 200th YEAR OF AMERICAN LIBERTY”. The top of the receiver is marked with a Ruger proof mark, and “RUGER / MINI-14 ® / CAL. .223”.

Sights/Optics: The front sight is a serrated blade integral to a banded base pinned to the barrel. The rear sight is a protected ghost ring adjustable for elevation and windage.sd38
Stock Configuration and Condition: The stock is a smooth wood with pistol grip, straight comb, hand guard, and black plastic buttplate. There are sling swivels on the buttstock and gas block. There are very minor scattered nicks, notable only on the right side of the forend and just forward of the buttstock sling swivel. There is a small white scuff just behind the sling swivel. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate shows light scuffing and scratches at the heel and toe. Overall, the stock rates in Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is mostly bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 96% of its metal finish. There are minor handling marks, and some very light operational wear, and the bolt shows scattered spots of minor surface oxidation. The through-bolt shows light toolmarks with a strong slot, and all markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
Box, Paperwork and Accessories: This rifle includes one (1) 5-round magazine that has a bit of adhesive residue on each side, a strong spring, intact feed lips, and rates in Very Good-plus condition.
