Markings: The top of the barrel is marked “TAYLOR’S & CO. WINCHESTER VA – A.UBERTIITALY” and “44 W.C.F.”. The underside of the receiver is marked “CAT.5989”. The bottom tang is marked “A. UBERTI-ITALY W27000”. The top tang is marked “MODEL 1873”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a blade with a white bead dovetailed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a square notch semi buckhorn with the top of the ears filed flat, the elevator is present.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two piece wood with laser engraved star checkering on the forend and a checkered Beretta buttstock. The forend shows light wear with sharp checkering. The Beretta marked buttstock shows moderate wear with lightly worned checkering with impact marks on the smooth surfaces. The buttstock fits the frame well. The LOP measures 13 ½” from the front of the trigger to the back of the rubber buttplate. There are no chips or cracks present. The stocks rate in about Fine Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 95% of its original metal finish. The balance of finish shows light-moderate handling marks with finish loss present mainly on the right side plate. Scattered scuffs and dings can be found on the blued surface. The lever has been shortened in order to disengage the lever locking mechanism, the metal was left unfinished. The markings are clear. The screw heads are lightly tooled with turnable slots. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine-Fine Plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly, this rifle has a short stroke kit installed. Please note that the lever lock has been disengaged. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.
