Markings: The left side of the slide is marked “COLT”, “AUTOMATIC / CAL. 22 LONG RIFLE”. The left side of the frame is marked with a rampant colt over “TARGETSMAN” between the slide and barrel. The left of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CONN. U.S.A.”. The right of the frame is marked “139336-C” over the trigger. The right of the trigger guard is marked “Y”, the left is marked “Y” and “VP” in triangle.

Sights / Optics: The rear sight is a flat topped square notch adjustable for windage and elevation, dovetailed to the rear of the slide. The front sight is a serrated, ramped blade that is fixed to the front of the barrel.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grips are two-piece checkered walnut with a thumb-shelf on the left panel for a right-handed shooter. The grips have handling wear with some thinning finish on the right panel, tool marks around the screw head on the left and a few scattered minor nicks and scuffs. The checkering is well defined. There are no chips or cracks. Overall, the grips are in about Very Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This pistol retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are only a few scattered minor marks and minor operational wear. The grip screw is tool marked with a strong slot. The markings are clear. Overall, this pistol is in about Fine-plus condition and would easily rate Excellent but for the wear in the grips.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The slide does not lock back on an empty magazine but can be locked back manually using the safety. The manual safety can be used to lock the slide forward. We did not fire this pistol. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This pistol comes in a two-piece faux-wood cardboard Colt box with the serial number hand-written on the bottom, wax paper, manual, and a single 10-round magazine. The magazine has light operational wear, intact feed lips and a strong spring, in about Fine condition. The box has scattered storage wear with fraying at edges and corners, in about Good-Very Good condition.
