Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “WINCHESTER MODEL 9422M .22 WIN. MAGNUM / MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A. — WINCHESTER PROOF STEEL”. The top of the barrel and top of the receiver are marked with the “WP” proof. The bottom of the frame and lever assembly are marked “F261141”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade and is dovetailed to a hooded, serrated, and ramped base. The rear sight is a “U” notch leaf and elevator style sight, the elevator is present. The top of the receiver is grooved to accept claw-style mounts (none included).

Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece smooth walnut with a straight grip, straight comb, checkered black plastic Winchester buttplate, and barrel band on the forend. There are some light handling marks. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures 13 ¾” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate shows some light marks on the heel with strong checkering. The stocks rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.

Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 98% of its metal finish. There are a few light oil marks on the receiver. The magtube has a light mark on the right side in front of the hanger and the right side of the barrel has a few tiny spots of discoloration in front of the hanger. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.

Mechanics: The magazine tube The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The rifle comes with a Winchester box with a label that matches the serial number. There are some creases, punctures, and scrapes. The most notable punctures are along the rear. The edges have wear and so do the corners. There are a few small rips. The box is in about Good-Very Good condition.
