Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “-WINCHESTER MODEL 70 .300 WSM-” above “MADE IN NEW HAVEN, CONN. U.S.A.”. The left side of the barrel where it meets the receiver has three Belgian proof marks. The underside of the barrel is marked “CAT13335”. The left side of the receiver is marked “-WINCHESTER – “ over “TRADEMARKS LICENSED FROM OLIN CORP”. The left side of the chamber ring has another Belgian proof mark. The right side of the chamber ring is marked “G2428541”. The top of the barrel at the receiver is marked with the Winchester proof mark. The bottom of the bolt body is hand-marked “8541”. The rubber recoil pad is marked “WINCHESTER”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a beaded blade dovetailed to a textured, ramped, hooded base screwed to the front of the barrel. The rear sight is a folding “U”-notch adjustable for elevation and windage in a base mounted to a ramped base. The top of the receiver is drilled and tapped.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered walnut with capped pistol grip, straight comb, solid rubber factory recoil pad and sling swivels front and rear. The stock has some very light handling marks but no chips or cracks. The checkering is generally well defined. The LOP measures 13 5/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the recoil pad. The pad has very light wear and is still supple. Overall, the stock is in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. There is a small ding in the finish on the top of the barrel about 1.5 inches behind the front sight, consistent with very light handling. The magazine floorplate screws show tiny tool marks. The extractor has a few scratches about an inch behind the claw. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are crisp and clear. Overall, this rifle is in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This rifle comes with a factory styrofoam lined cardboard box serial numbered to the rifle. It is in Very Good condition.
