Markings: The left side of the frame is marked “RUGER OLD ARMY”. The top of the barrel is marked with the Ruger two-line warning address. The right side of the frame is marked with the serial number. The cylinder is marked “FOR BLACK POWDER ONLY” twice on opposing sides. The front face of the percussion cylinder is hand inscribed “35”.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade integral to a pedestal fixed to the barrel. The rear sight is a square notched leaf, adjustable for windage and elevation pinned to the frame and protected by ears.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The two-piece smooth wood grips sport a silver eagle medallion with a black background on each panel. There are some faint draglines and a few scratches that are so light and shallow they are almost invisible, they are on the left by the medallion. There are no chips or cracks. The grips rate in about Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. The bottom of the barrel has a few marks through the finish from the loading lever. There is some light thinning on the edges at the muzzle. There is some finish loss on the edges of the rear sight. The grip frame has some little marks, a scratch or two, and some thinning on the edges. The cylinder has an almost invisible turn line. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this handgun rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lock-up is good with only light perceptible side to side play. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The revolver comes with a .45 Colt conversion cylinder, Ruger branded Bianchi leather flap holster, manual, yellow Ruger box, and serial matched cardboard shipping sleeve. The holster has some liquid discoloration, scuffs, scratches, and some verdigris patina on the brass. The stitching is intact and the holster rates in about Very Good condition.
