Markings: The left side of the receiver is marked with the serial number, “RUGER CARBINE / .44 MAGNUM CAL.” and the Ruger circled eagle logo. The top of the barrel is marked “STURM, RUGER & CO. INC. / SOUTHPORT, CONN, U.S.A.” and with a circled “SR” proof on the top of the chamber.

Sights / Optics: The front sight is a brass beaded blade dovetailed into the barrel band. The rear sight is a square notched flip up sight with screws for fine elevation adjustment and is dovetailed into the barrel. The top of the receiver has two drilled, tapped, and filled holes and the top of the chamber has one pair.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The smooth hardwood stock has a pistol grip, straight comb, carbine style buttplate, and a 25th Anniversary Medallion inletted into the right side of the buttstock. The stock shows scattered handling and storage marks with some of these marks scratching through the finish. There are no chips or cracks present. The LOP measures 13 ¼” from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. The buttplate shows moderate wear at the heel. The stock rates in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. The receiver shows a plum hue. The barrel and receiver have light handling marks, some of these marks scratch through the finish. The trigger guard has a few small marks through the finish. The lifter assembly shows finish loss normal from loading the rifle. The markings are clear. The screw heads are sharp. Overall, this rifle rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all previously owned firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The serial number matching end label box is included with this rifle. The box shows heavy discoloration and wear. The box rates in about Fair overall condition.
