Markings: The left of the receiver is marked “USSG – Rockledge, FL / Zastava-Serbia” and “Remington Model 799”. The bolt handle is hand marked marked “2554” on the underside. The receiver tang is also marked “2554”. The left of the chamber is marked “Cal. 7.62×39”. The right of the receiver is marked with the serial number. The butt of the pistol grip is marked “R”.

Sights / Optics: There is no provision for iron sights. The top of the receiver is installed with a pair of bases that secure a pair of rings holding a Bushnell Sportview 3-9×32 scope. The scope has scattered little marks and nicks into the finish. There are handling marks and draglines. The scope has a crosshair and the glass is clear, it rates in about Fine condition.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is a one-piece checkered laminate wood with a pistol grip, fluted monte carlo comb with a cheekpiece, sling swivels front and rear, and a checkered black hard rubber Remington buttplate. There are some light scuffs and a few dings into the finish, the most noticeable is located on the left side at about left side at about the front of the floorplate. The finish on the left side of the butt displays crazing. The checkering has a few nicked peaks, mainly on the forend. There are no chips or cracks. The LOP measures approximately 13 5/8” from the front of the trigger to the rear of the checkered black hard rubber Remington buttplate. The plate has some draglines and dings on the smooth borders. The checkering and lettering are intact and attractive. There are a few spots of pigment on the buttplate. The stock rates in about Fine overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the rifling is sharp. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 97% of its metal finish. The bottom metal has a few light scuffs. The barrel has some draglines. The bolt release has a faint plum hue developing. The barrel has some faint draglines and a few tiny hardly noticeable marks into the finish. The bolt has standard operational wear. The screw heads are undamaged. The markings are strong and easily read though the “Remington” is a bit uneven. Overall, this rifle rates in about Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: The previously described Bushnell Sportview 3-9×32 scope is included.
