Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “MODEL 37-FEATHERLIGHT-20 GA-2 3/4 CHAMBER-PROOF TESTED / ITHACA GUN CO., INC., ITHACA, N.Y. – MADE IN U.S.A.-ROTO” with an anvil “FORGED” and “I. CYL.”. The right-bottom-rear of the receiver is marked with the serial number. The sides of the receiver have simple bird and dog hunting scenes. The right of the receiver and the right of the barrel are marked with an anvil proof.

Sights / Optics: There is a pink fiber-optic insert in a base at the front of the rib. The top of the rib and receiver are serrated and matte-finished to reduce glare.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are a two piece checkered walnut with extended slide-handle, capped pistol grip, straight comb and solid brown rubber Old English buttpad. The stocks have some scattered light nicks, scuffs and scratches, most notable in the front of the grip and in the belly. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is well defined, generally sharp. The LOP measures 13 3/4″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the pad, 12 3/4″ to the back of the wood. The pad has some light wear, most at the heel, and is still fairly supple. Overall, the stocks are in about Very Good-plus condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright. There is no erosion.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 90% of its metal finish. The finish is thinning at most edges. The majority of the balance of the finish is in light finish wear on the top and bottom of the receiver. There are some scattered light nicks and scratches. The action shows operational wear. The screw heads range from sharp to tool marked with strong slots. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Very Good-plus condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. It will slam-fire by design. The shotgun ejects out the bottom of the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
