Our Assessment: This Remington Model 1903-A3 was made during WWII in 1943. The wood looks nice, the metal finish is in great shape, and the bore is an absolute beauty. The markings on the receiver and barrel are nice and clear. There are also little “R” markings on several of the small metal parts. This one was sent to the Raritan Arsenal for refurbishment or repair an is marked with the “RA-P” stamp on the left of the stock.
