Our Assessment: Browning first started making this rifle in 1914, FN manufactured the rifle through 1974, after which it was made by Miroku of Japan. The earlier rifles were made in three grades, with Miroku adding two more. This is a Grade 1 rifle made by FN in 1970. It has a 19 1/4” barrel, blue finish, and scroll engraving on the receiver and trigger guard. This rifle is in Excellent condition, having been protected well over the years by its box. The rifle shows little sign of use with a great bore and strong mechanics. Whether you’re looking for a plinker with a little panache or would like to add this rifle to a Browning collection, this is a sweet old .22. Please see our photos and good luck!
