The screw heads are lightly worn with strong slots. The pinheads are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun rates in about Fine condition.

Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Box, Paperwork & Accessories: None

Our Assessment: Just as the Remington 870 took the shotgun world by storm, the 1100 brought a reliable, gas-operated and affordable semi-automatic shotgun to market. The 11-87 improved on this with a self-compensating gas system which functions equally well with magnums and target loads. This example, the 11-87 Special Purpose Super Magnum has a 28″ barrel that can accept 3 ½” loads and has a removable choke. This gun is perfect for hunters who like to chase waterfowl and with removable chokes make it quite versatile. The gun is in Fine condition, appearing to have spent some time in the field but was responsibly used. Please see our pictures and good luck!

CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This shotgun can be transferred in California.
