Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH & MONTREAL P.Q. / MADE IN JAPAN/MIROKU”. The left of the monoblock is marked “INVECTOR / PLUS”, “28”” and “24444”, the bottom of the monoblock is marked with three proofs. The right of the top barrel is marked “INVECTOR-PLUS CITORI SPECIAL STEEL 20 GA – 2 3/4″ AND 3″”. The inside of the forend iron is marked “24444” and the inside of the forend is stamped “24444”. The top tang, under the lever, is marked “24444MM131”. The bottom of the receiver is marked “BROWNING / Citori”. The receiver has Grade I engraving. The bottom of the trigger guard is marked with Browning’s Buck Mark logo.
Barrel Length: 28”, Vent-Rib
Choke: The barrels are threaded for Invector Plus chokes and have Modified over Full chokes installed.
Sights / O99ics: This shotgun is mounted with a silver-colored bead at the front of the rib. The top of the rib is finely checkered, fading to serrations at the rear, for glare reduction.
Weight: 6 lb., 7.9 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are two-piece checkered walnut with round-bottom pistol grip, straight comb and textured black plastic Browning buttplate. The stocks have a few scattered light nicks and scratches. There are no chips or cracks. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures 14 1/8″ from the front of the trigger to the back of the buttplate. Drop at comb is approximately 1 1/2″, drop at heel 2 1/4″. The cast is about neutral. The plate has minor wear. Overall, the stocks are in about Fine condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright. There is no erosion in the bores.
Overall Condition: This shotgun retains about 95% of its metal finish. The barrels have wear from the forend, concealed when assembled. The finish is thinning on the edges of the trigger guard and safety. There are a few other scattered minor marks. The action shows light operational wear. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this shotgun is in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly including the ejectors. The barrels lock up with no play to the receiver. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: Browning Citori shotguns are extremely dependable and make for great investments. This example is a 20 Gauge with 28″ barrels threaded for Invector-Plus chokes and chambered for 2 3/4″ and 3″ shells. It has light operational wear consistent with use by a responsible sportsman. The gun retains strong mechanics, bright bores, and a tight lockup. This ought to be a great shotgun for hunting or clay shooting for the lucky winner. Please see our photos and good luck!
