Assessment: Christian Sharps introduced one of America’s first and most successful breech-loading rifles with design starting in 1850 and improvements continuing into the 1870s and the metallic cartridge era. This rifle is a fantastic reproduction of the 1874 model cartridge rifle made by Pedersoli in Italy. It is chambered for the .45-70 Gov’t cartridge with a 30″ octagonal barrel and nice target sights installed. In Fine condition, this rifle shows minor wear, retains a great bore and strong mechanics. This rifle will be nice for recreational target shooting or even for hunting, though a bit heavy to carry around. Where it will really shine is in BPCR competition shooting. It is also just a beautiful rifle that will make a great addition to any collection. Please see our photos and good luck!

CA Legal or CA Private Party Transferable: This rifle can be transferred in California.
