Markings: The left side of the upper barrel is marked “BROWNING ARMS COMPANY MORGAN, UTAH / MADE IN JAPAN”. The left of the monoblock is marked “25297”, “6”, “M”, and “INVECTOR”. The bottom of the monoblock is marked with three proofs and “6”. The bottom of the monoblock, between the lugs, is marked “5”. The right of the top barrel is marked “SPECIAL STEEL 20 GA-2 3/4” AND 3”-28””. The inside of the forend iron is marked “25297” and the inside of the forend is stamped “H 25297”. The top tang, under the lever, is marked with the serial number. The sides of the receiver are marked with a Buck Mark followed by “Ultra XS Skeet”. There is Grade 6 engraving throughout the receiver and on the tangs. The sides of the receiver show golden fowl taking flight. The bottom of the receiver shows a golden hound. The bottom of the trigger guard shows a golden quail.
Barrel Length: 28” Vent-Rib
Choke: The barrels are threaded to accept interchangeable chokes. The currently installed chokes are Cylinder over Cylinder. No additional chokes are included.
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a white plastic bead. The top of the rib is checkered for glare reduction.
Weight: 6 lb., 12.7 oz.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stocks are checkered walnut with a round bottom pistol grip, fluted straight comb, and a black hard rubber buttplate. The forend has a few little marks into the finish and a compression, the most noticeable are on the right side. The wood shows some scattered minor little compressions and draglines. The checkering is sharp. The LOP measures approximately 14 1/4” from the front of the trigger to the back of the Browning buttplate. The cast is neutral. The drop at comb is approximately 1 3/8” and at heel 2 3/8”. The pad has some faint wear. The stocks rate in about Fine-Plus overall condition.

Bore Condition: The bores are bright with no erosion.
Overall Condition: This gun retains about 96% of its metal finish.There is some faint oxidation on the top barrel near the muzzle. The bottom barrel shows a patch of finish loss on the bottom just ahead of the forearm. There are a few light marks scattered over the barrels. The screw heads are sharp and the pins are clean. The markings are crisp. Overall, this gun rates in about Fine condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The shotgun features a single selective trigger and ejectors. The barrels lock up solidly. The safety does not engage automatically when the action is opened but does function properly when engaged manually. We have not fired this shotgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.

Our Assessment: Browning Citori shotguns are extremely dependable and make for great investments. This example is a Citori Lightning Grade 6 with 28” ported barrels threaded for Invector Plus chokes and chambered for 20 gauge 2 ¾ & 3 inch shells. It has bright bores and a tight lockup.
