Our Assessment: The Model 22-410 was introduced in 1938 and is a survival gun. The .22 Long Rifle barrel is good for small game/varmint hunting, while the .410 is good for turkey. Not a bad tool with which to put dinner on the table! Introduced by Stevens in 1938, the 22-410 was produced until 1950 when Savage, after having acquired Stevens, re-branded the exact same gun as the Model 24. This example is in Very Good condition, both cores are bright, the lock-up is tight, and mechanically everything is in good working order. There is a small, thin crack in the grip that will need to be addressed, but it does not detract from what is a pretty nice combo gun. Good luck and happy bidding!
