Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “460 S&W MAGNUM”, the right is marked “SMITH & WESSON”. The left side of the frame has an S&W monogram (found again on the sides of the grip) and “L” with an arrow for frame lock indication, the right is marked with the four-line Marcas Registradas. The side plate is marked “460 / V”. The crane cut is marked with the serial and model numbers. The butt is marked with the serial number. The sides of the grip frame, crane, and cylinder under the ejector have inspection marks. The underside of the top strap is marked “A”.
Barrel Length: 4”, 5” to the end of the compensator
Sights / Optics: The front sight is a serrated ramped blade with a red insert that is pinned to a rise in the barrel’s solid rib; the top of the rib is serrated and matte finished for glare reduction. The rear sight is a flat top square notched leaf in a micrometer-click adjustable base. Under the rear sight base, the topstrap is drilled and tapped for mounting optics (none included).
Stock Configuration & Condition: The grip is a one-piece S&W monogram pebble-textured Hogue Monogrip with finger grooves. The grip has some light scuffs and some light rub wear to the texturing. There are no rips or tears. Overall, the grips are in about Fine-Excellent condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is bright and the Electro Chemically Machined rifling is strong. There is no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This handgun retains about 97% of its metal finish. There are draglines and swirls from use and storage. There are a few scattered light scuffs and handling marks. The cylinder has a thin turn-line. The screw heads are sharp. The markings are clear. Overall, this revolver is in about Fine-Excellent condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. The cylinder lockup produces very light play on each chamber with the trigger depressed. The double-action trigger is smooth. The single-action is crisp. We did not fire this handgun. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance standards.
Box, Paperwork & Accessories: This revolver comes in a blue plastic Smith & Wesson case with a serial matching label, an assortment of factory paperwork including manual, keys for the frame lock, an additional compensator, and an additional rear sight. The case has scattered scuffs and some stress discoloration, in about Fine condition.
