Our Assessment: The O-PAP M70 is one of the sturdiest rifles to come out of the Zastava factory. This AK is Solidly built like a tank and all of its equipment and parts are tight. Serbia is one of those names notorious in the AK world for making high quality and long lasting AKs. . Its modern production does mean that if you just need a Kalashnikov type rifle to bang around, you won’t feel guilty about it and knowing it hasn’t been abused in the past makes all the more reason to grab this fresh rifle. This firearm packs a serious punch and brings a lot of potential for self-defense, target practice, hunting, or just general fun-having. The O-PAP is a different kind of beast as it flaunts a thicker receiver comparable to the RPK and boasts a Hammer Forged Barrel that isn’t Chrome Lined to ensure longevity and increased accuracy. If you want versatility and power and an AK that stands out from the rest in its Yugoslavian styled aesthetic, then this is the gun to make that arsenal stand out. Good Luck!
