Our Assessment: Everyone needs an SKS in their collection, as they look fantastic and feel great in your hands. A good example of an imported Tula Arsenal SKS, this simple and sturdy military rifle makes for a fun platform to shoot. With the majority of this gun coming to us from 1955, one of the last years Tula would focus on the SKS platform before going in on AK47 production, it does have some obvious refurbishment signs. The barrel is painted black when originally it was blued, the Bayonet is also painted black, and the rear sight leaf is gray when it should also be blue. The stock is original Tula Arctic birch, it just isn’t the original that came with the receiver group. Which really, this just means that you won’t feel bad when you take this solid and gorgeous SKS to the range or out for that much-anticipated deer hunt. So you get all the rewards of having a reliable firearm and looking good without the risk! Russian SKS rifles are the top of the desired list, so don’t miss your chance to add a Russian flare to that arsenal. Good Luck!
