Markings: Left side of the receiver is marked, “RUGER CARBINE MAGNUM CAL 71055”. The top of the barrel is marked, “ STURM RUGER & CO SOUTHPORT, CONN., U.S.A.”. The scope is marked, “2x-7x COMPACT MADE IN U.S.A.”. The left side of the scope is marked, “Burris”.
Barrel Length: 16″ threaded with knurled thread protector
Sights / Optics: There are no iron sights on this rifle. There is a Burris 2x-7x Compact scope mounted to two picatinnies atop the receiver and barrel. The sight picture is clear.
Stock Configuration & Condition: The stock is walnut with metal buttplate, traditional pistol grip, and sling swivels on the bottom of the buttstock and on the barrel band. There are scattered scratches and impression marks throughout the wood surface but no nicks or cracks. The bluing on the buttplate is worn at the heel and toe. There are several screws on the left side of the receiver that have covered the “.44” in the name as well as the “U” in MAGNUM”. The stock is in Good condition.

Bore Condition: The bore is semi-bright and the rifling is sharp. There is minimal to no erosion in the bore.
Overall Condition: This rifle retains about 90% of its metal finish. The balance of the finish shows wear on the barrel near the muzzle as well as some thinning around the trigger guard. The screw heads are sharp and pins are unmarred. The markings are clear. Overall, this rifle rates in about Very Good condition.
Mechanics: The action functions correctly. We did not fire this rifle. As with all used firearms, a thorough cleaning may be necessary to meet your maintenance requirements.
